Simply Well Women Sisterhood Collective is creating and holding sacred space for women to be loved through true rest, connection and immersive experiences. Through holistic spiritual retreats, meaningful fellowship, and soul-centered experiences, we cultivate opportunities for women to deepen their relationships with God and themselves while nurturing their minds, bodies and spirits. Rooted in grace, authenticity, and sisterhood, our retreats are designed to help women step away from the noise of everyday life and rediscover peace, purpose, and wholeness in community with one another. About Melissa Ruvalcaba
Beloved Daughter, Mother, Wife, and SISTER
Hey there, beautiful! My name is, Melissa Ruvalcaba. I am a beloved daughter, mother, wife and SISTER. I am also a Whole Health Artist, Retreat Leader and Encourager. In 2021, I was led to start sharing the knowledge I had gleaned from my own health journey, from the Bible and from studies, books, and certification programs...then, I was led to begin what I thought was a whole health coaching practice. I hadn't yet realized I was actually called to start a ministry, based on John 4--when Jesus encounters the Samaratan woman at the well, invites her to drink "living water", loves her deeply (she is fully known by him), transforms her and draws others to him through her, multiplying his gift of salvation through her influence and gifts.
A year after my mom died in 2022, I hosted a series of workshops aligning God's word with caring for our whole selves (emotionally, spiritually, relationally and physically) because it is all connected. Around the same time, I received a calling to host women's retreats. I prayed and waited, and then God said, "begin"! And, now, I am called to "bring women to the well" to encounter our triune God at my retreats. At my first retreat in 2025, the year I turned 50, the PRESENCE of God showed up in so many ways. Those women left feeling seen, empowered, rested, equipped and, most importantly, lavishly LOVED. What I have found is that he did not intend for me to do it alone, and EVERY woman has gifts to offer. As we use our gifts to serve others in love, we ALL receive blessings. And, so, the SISTERHOOD COLLECTIVE was born.
