Experience Connection

Connection is where we find safety. Connection is how we grow. Connection is where we find identity and purpose. Connection is a foundational tenet of The Art of Wholeness retreat. We invite you to Connect with God, Connect with Sisters and Connect with YOURSELF!

Connect with God

John 15:4 MSG

“Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me."

Connect with Sisters

1 Peter 4:8-10 NIV

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

Connect with Yourself

1 Peter 3:4

"Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."

Experience it for yourself!

Giving and Receiving

The Art of Wholeness is being centered in relationship with Jesus, receiving from Him (forgiveness, wisdom, peace, love...everything) and being made whole by giving to others (those he calls you to pray for, love and serve with Him).

We have been praying for you.

We will experience communal meal prep with intuitive instruction on preparing whole and healthy meals to nourish you, your family and community.

We are excited to share with you the secrets of sourdough in addition to the wisdom behind being part of the meal preparation (there are so many reasons!).

You also have the opportunity to take part in daily activities like devotional, worship, prayer, journaling and movement and time in nature to nurture you--spirit, soul and body.

We will provide clean, filtered and structured water for your refreshment.

We have some other beautiful surprises planned to enable you to receive and give in this experience of wholeness.

FAQ section

Frequently asked questions

You've got questions. We've got answers.

What is a Wholeness Retreat?

It is a curated experience designed to help you realign your spirit, soul and body for overall well-being. Unlike standard vacations, it focuses on biblical identity, prayer, connection and holistic healing.

How does "wholeness" differ from "wellness"?

Wellness often focuses on looking after the mind and body, whereas wholeness brings together: mental/emotional, physical, relational/social, spiritual, and sometimes professional—to create a sense of being complete.

What is a typical day at the retreat?

First, everything is optional. This experience is for you. We begin the day with time for communal prayer, worship and devotion. There's an option to take time for self-discovery through journaling. Journal prompts are provided. We will have a generous DIY breakfast and afternoon snack area with DIY coffee and tea, etc. We plan to take advantage of moving at sunrise (fascial maneuvers, yoga, walk or hike). We will be preparing two meals a day (brunch and dinner), some will be "all hands invited", during which meal prep instruction will be part of the experience!

During the day, you might have a therapy or coaching session. We might have a group activity. We plan to move organically through the day at the pace set by the group, but according to a schedule, which you will receive upon arrival. Fireside chats, indoors or out, are generally a wonderful and peaceful way to end the day. Some may gather for prayer or worship or both. Some may dance. It's going to be great.

Is this retreat safe for solo travelers?

Yes, our retreats are held in vetted locations with trusted partners, and we provide a safe, supported group environment that has been prayed over for months.

What about mental health?

This experience support stress management and personal growth. However, we are not a therapeutic, medical facility and cannot handle acute crises, deep depression, or detoxification needs.

What if I have dietary or health restrictions?

Please inform us in your registration form so we can make the experience safe and comfortable for you.

What is included in the price?

The fee includes accommodation, excursions, and whole and healthy meals. It does not include airfare, transportation to the venue, or optional therapies or treatments.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the nature of this experience, we cannot offer cancellations. Please refer to our terms and conditions on the registration form for specific details. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in case of an emergency.

Is there follow up after the retreat?

Yes, we often provide resources, action plans, or follow-up calls to help you integrate this experience into your daily life, in addition to continuing to deepen your connections to the other women (who may become part of the Sisterhood Collective).

What should I pack to come to Boyne Falls in November?

Dress for comfort, warmth and modesty. We currently have one planned excursion for which this dress is appropriate. Plan to hike. Plan for possible snow.

We will have many creature comforts on hand and available for you to use, in addition to a first aid kit and some natural remedies.

Bring whatever medications you need.

The Airbnb host confirmed some of their laundry detergent is not fragrance free; but, they will launder them prior to our arrival to neutralize any residual fragrance. If you would be more comfortable, you may also bring some bedding and towels from home.

*Please DO NOT BRING perfume or scented candles. We would like to maintain a primarily fragrance-free environment, for your overall comfort, health and peace.

We will have natural beeswax candles, herbs and essential oils on hand, instead of the above.
